At our booth, attendees explored some of GW’s latest technologies available for licensing, spanning AI and computing, advanced materials, clean energy, and biomedical innovation. Highlights included:

  • AI and Computing: Flexible and energy-efficient accelerators for graph convolutional networks, self-healing hardware for autonomous driving, and reconfigurable optical coprocessors.

  • Industrial and Energy Technologies: Microalgae harvesting through fluid dynamics, dual-manifold thermoelectric heat exchangers, and solar hybrid dryers for agricultural applications.

  • Biomedical Innovations: Non-invasive plasma discharge tube devices for treating brain tumors, bioresorbable microelectrode arrays for cardiac applications, and oxytocin-based therapies for respiratory conditions.

  • Diagnostics and Research Tools: AI-driven telehealth diagnostics for neurological diseases, microCafe for large-scale genomic analysis, and self-morphing 4D-printed culture substrates for stem cell research.

Visitors also joined in on our interactive “Guess the Invention” game, testing their knowledge of quirky research and historic patents.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to connect with the DMV’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, engage with potential partners, and showcase how GW TCO helps bridge the gap between cutting-edge university research and real-world impact.
