GW Medical Problems Repository

The George Washington University Technology Commercialization Office (TCO) established the GW Medical Problems Repository to help connect medical professionals that know of important healthcare problems to innovative engineers and scientists that can develop solutions. The level of collaboration between the medical side and innovation side depends on the mutual interest of each. It can range from just providing the idea to joint research and development, or even formation of a startup company.

GW Medical Professionals: Do you wish you had a new or improved tool, material, or drug that doesn't yet exist? Use the embedded form below to document medical problems you encounter in practice that may have a technical solution, so GW researchers and engineers can explore solutions. Submissions are confidential and visible to GW personnel only, who may contact you to learn more or offer to collaborate.

Innovative GW Faculty, Students, and Staff: Looking for new projects to solve to make real-world impact on healthcare? View the submissions via the link below, then contact the submitting medical professionals for more information or collaboration. The information in the repository is confidential and should only be shared with GW personnel unless otherwise approved by the TCO. Be sure to submit an invention disclosure when you design a potential solution.
