Highlights from the September 21st Big Idea CONNECTpreneur

The September 21st Big Idea CONNECTpreneur Forum was co-sponsored by the GW Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (OIE) and the Technology Commercialization Office of the George Washington University (TCO). This event served as a dynamic platform for intensive networking, fostering valuable connections and collaborations among distinguished industry professionals, while also spotlighting remarkable innovation and entrepreneurial accomplishments.

At this prestigious gathering, two esteemed GW TCO licensees, Avstera Therapeutics Inc., and SonoStik, took the stage to present their solutions to an audience of industry professionals and investors.

Avstera Therapeutics is a specialty oncology-focused biopharmaceutical company, driving innovation with a broad pipeline that encompasses novel small molecules and biologics. They are on a mission to deliver impactful treatments to cancer patients.

SonoStik is a team of dedicated individuals with decades of clinical and commercial expertise with a mission to advance vascular access. Their innovative single-handed approach to intravenous guidewire introducers is a testament to that commitment.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the attendees and participants who contributed to making this event a resounding success. Through collaborative efforts like these, we are committed to fostering a vibrant ecosystem for startups and technology commercialization. Together, we are shaping the future of innovation and healthcare.
