The above 3 minute SonoInsulin whiteboard video exemplifies George Washington University (GW) innovations.

GW has a vibrant research community, boasting nearly 100 centers and institutes dedicated to research and education in a wide range of disciplines within Life Sciences and Physical Sciences. The Technology Commercialization Office (TCO) helps foster collaboration between GW’s researchers and industry partners to bring new technologies from GW’s research community into the marketplace.

Within Life Sciences, TCO has helped to commercialize inventions including:

  • New drugs
  • Medical devices
  • Bioinformatic software
  • Vaccines
  • Diagnostics
  • Mobile Health and Health IT

TCO has also worked with GW researchers in the Physical Sciences to commercialize products like:

  • Batteries
  • Sensors
  • Chemical processes
  • Computer Sciences
  • Software
  • Big Data Analysis

We have several GW Partners involved in research coordination and innovation development at GW.

If you have an invention, start working with TCO as soon as possible.
