A Note from Our Executive Director

Brian Coblitz

Dear GW community and potential partners,

Our world faces new and growing challenges, particularly in clean energy and water, effective and affordable health care, and cybersecurity. These challenges are rapidly evolving under the pressures of the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change, which is creating unique opportunities for GW research to impact society.

Helping GW researchers seize these opportunities motivates me and the rest of the Technology Commercialization Office team. Over many years I have built great relationships with GW inventors who are eager to connect with businesses and entrepreneurs to work together to address society's needs. When GW researchers learn about the needs of the business community, valuable innovations flourish.

As the list of societal problems solved by GW technology grows, the global reach of our research also expands. We’re constantly working to continue to increase GW’s impact and form an international network of strategic corporate partners.

We strive to maintain a business-friendly environment for the benefit of all our collaborators. If you have any questions or would like to discuss opportunities, don’t hesitate to contact me.

Best regards,
Brian Coblitz
